Workshops

Building your own IoT development board

Internet Of Things is the concept of basically connecting any device with an on and off switch to the Internet (and/or to each other). A simple example could be, alarm clock waking you up at 6 in the morning while also notifying your coffee maker to create your favorite coffee. Come explore IoT by developing your own network using OpenWRT platform.

Semiupervised Machine Learning

Problems where you have a large amount of input data and only some of the data is labeled i.e. have some known attributes, are called semi-supervised learning problems. Many real world machine learning problems fall into this area. This is because it can be expensive or time-consuming to label data as it may require access to domain experts. Whereas unlabeled data is cheap and easy to collect and store.

3D Object Recognition

The Point Cloud Library (PCL) is an open-source library of algorithms for point cloud processing tasks and 3D geometry processing, which usually occur as important tasks in three-dimensional computer vision. The library contains algorithms for feature estimation, surface reconstruction, registration, model fitting, and segmentation.

3D Printing

3D Printing has transformed into one of the hottest technologies of the decade. The process of 3D Printing is simple yet creative: adding desired materials layer-by- layer to form three dimensional physical objects. This decade has seen 3D Printing expand its scope to a multitude of domains all over the globe: ranging from the use of 3D Printers by surgeons in super-specialities to rapid prototyping in aeronautics and automation, their use by fashion designers as well as its capabilities to ‘print’ chocolate in bakeries.

Dissolve the Box Thinking

"Thinking out of the box" is not enough....Dissolve the box!

Cognitive Science

Cognitive science is the interdisciplinary, scientific study of the mind and its processes. It examines the nature, the tasks, and the functions of cognition. Cognitive scientists study intelligence and behavior, with a focus on how nervous systems represent, process, and transform information.
